The American Society of Safety Engineers’ (ASSE’s) charitable arm, the ASSE Foundation, is accepting applications for its Family Scholarship Fund. The Fund is available to children and spouses of individuals who lost their lives in a workplace incident. The scholarship is designed to provide educational funding to minimize the financial effects of a family’s loss and encourage continuing education.
Founded in 1911, the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) is a global organization of more than 37,000 occupational safety and health (OSH) professional members who manage, supervise, research and consult on work-related OSH concerns in all industries, government, and education.
You are encouraged to apply if you are
- A full-time student pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree at a school in the United States
- Provide a college transcript showing a 2.5 minimum GPA (high school seniors may provide a high school transcript)
- Be a U.S. citizen
