The Women Techmakers Scholarship

Google Inc. is pleased to announce a one-time scholarship named as the Women Techmakers Scholarship. To eligible, the applicant must identify as female and study computer science, computer engineering or a closely related technical field. Women Techmakers Scholars will each receive $10,000 USD (for students in the US) or $5,000 CAD (for students in Canada) for the 2018-2019 academic year.

The SWE scholarships Program

The Society of Women Engineers is pleased to announce the SWE scholarships. The program is open to full or part-time students who are entering any year of engineering school, including graduate school. The program provides financial assistance to women admitted to accredited baccalaureate or graduate programs, in preparation for careers in engineering, engineering technology, and computer science. Scholarships range from $1,000 to $15,000 each and some are renewable. In 2017, SWE disbursed approximately 233 new and renewed scholarships valued at more than $715,000. SWE scholarships for the 2018-2019 academic year will be available December 1, 2017.

The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) Foundation is pleased to announce its annual three scholarships named as the WomenIn scholarship, the Randy Pausch scholarships, and the Mark Beaumont Scholarship. The program is open to a female-identifying full-time undergraduate student who is starting their second year or a graduate student attending an accredited college or university in the United States during the 2017-18 academic school year.

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) is pleased to announce the Selected Professions Fellowships Program. Microsoft awards tuition scholarships each year to encourage students to pursue studies in Computer Science and related STEM disciplines. The scholarship is open to students pursuing Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) degree. To apply, the applicant must be enrolled full time in a bachelor’s degree program at a four-year college or university in the United States, Canada, or Mexico at the time the application is submitted.
