Brief Description:

In support of the mission of FIRST, the Bradley University is pleased to announce the four renewable scholarships. These scholarships are available to high school seniors who have participated for at least one full season in a FIRST Robotics Competition or FIRST Tech Challenge in either their junior or senior years. In order to apply, the applicants must enroll at Bradley as full-time, first-time freshmen majoring in a program of study within the College of Engineering & Technology.

Host Institution:

Bradley University is a private, mid-sized university in Peoria, Illinois. The Bradley Polytechnic Institute was founded by philanthropist Lydia Moss Bradley in 1897 in memory of her husband Tobias and their six children, all of whom died early and suddenly, leaving Bradley a childless widow. The university currently enrolls 5,400 students who are pursuing degrees in more than 100 undergraduate programs and more than 30 graduate programs in five colleges.

Eligibility:

  • High school seniors who have participated for at least one full season in a FIRST Robotics Competition or FIRST Tech Challenge in either their junior or senior years.
  • Applicants should have at least a 3.5 high school GPA.
  • Applicants must enroll at Bradley as full-time, first-time freshmen majoring in a program of study within the College of Engineering & Technology.
  • Applicants eligible for renewal scholarship, who maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

Award Description:

The Bradley University is offering up to four $2,500 renewable scholarships. Scholarships are renewable for up to eight semesters for recipients who maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
