Brief Description:

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District VI Board is pleased to announce the Advancing Diversity Scholarships. The program is open to those who are currently holding a position in one of the three professional areas of advancement-alumni relations, communications/marketing or fund raising. The District VI is committed to supporting the recruitment and retention of a more diverse workforce.The district also hosts an annual awards program designed to highlight and recognize the best practices in our profession.

Host Institution:

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) supports alumni relations, communications, development, and marketing professionals at educational institutions worldwide. CASE District VI represents professionals and institutions in the Midwest region of the United States (Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming).

Eligibility:

Each applicant for the scholarship must meet the following criteria:

  • American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, Multiracial, LGBTQ, or a person with a disability.
  • Currently hold a position in one of the three professional areas of advancement-alumni relations, communications/marketing or fund raising.

Award Description:

The CASE VI Opportunity and Inclusion Committee will review all applications and select up to four recipients who will each receive up to $1,020. Total: $4,080.
