Title: Naval Academy Science and Engineering Conference
Theme: Artificial Intelligence and Space Exploration
Conference Date: November 12-14 2017
The U.S. Naval Academy, a leading institution of higher education with strong programs and emphases in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), will host an annual conference to bring policy makers and science advisors together with university faculty and students to meet and discuss significant science and engineering issues and challenges. The conference provides a forum to bring together the nation’s future Navy and Marine Corps officers with their peers from other colleges and universities, both civilian and military, from across the country. Participants engage in discussion and research on some of the key scientific and technical challenges facing the nation and the world.
The conference attendees will also have the unique opportunity to hear from distinguished speakers, about their perspectives on the main themes of the conference. In addition, a special Poster Session offers all student participants the opportunity to engage in conversations and activities about their own personal research interests.
Because of the working nature of this conference, it is desirable that the attendees participate in the entire conference.
