The National Science Foundation (NSF) is pleased to offer the fellowship named as “NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP)”. The AugSTEM Program

The AugSTEM Program is designed to support Augsburg juniors and seniors who wish to pursue a career in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. To eligible, the applicants must be enrolled full-time in a STEM major (biology, biopsychology, chemistry, computer science, environmental studies, mathematics, or physics). Funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF DUE-1565060), AugSTEM Scholars receive scholarships of $5,000, $7,500 and $10,000 per student per year.  Scholars also become a part of the STEM community at Augsburg with opportunities for summer research, faculty mentoring, and career development.

The Orlando Science Center supported by United Arts of Central Florida has offering Dr. Nelson Ying Science Competition that encourages students to help humanity through scientific research. The competition is open to high school student or home school equivalent who resides in Central Florida. To eligible, the applicant must have a project in one of the Physical Science Categories: Chemistry, Computer Science, Earth and Space Sciences, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Mathematics, and Physics. The Orlando Science Center will provide “Ying Prize” of $5,000 to the top student, $1,000 to their teacher and $1,000 to their principal.
