Brief Description:

Harvard Law School is pleased to announce a scholarship program named as “American Indian Law School Scholarship”. The scholarship invites American Indian or Alaska Natives and enrolled tribal members or lineal descendants of an enrolled parent or grandparent and seeking to obtain a law degree from Harvard Law School. The Harvard Law School’s mission is to support the research and curricular needs of its faculty and students by providing a superb collection of legal materials and by offering the highest possible level of service.

Host Institution:

Harvard Business School (HBS) is the graduate business school of Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. The school started in 1908. Initially established by the humanities faculty, it received independent status in 1910, and became a separate administrative unit in 1913.


To apply applicants must:

  • U.S. citizens or Canadians eligible to attend college in the U.S. under provisions of the Jay Treaty
  • Enrolled in a certificate, associates, bachelors, or graduate program at an accredited tribal, public, or private (non-profit) college or university
  • Full-time enrollment (Full Circle applicants only).
  • Registered as an enrolled member of a federal or state recognized tribe, or a descendant of at
  • Least one grandparent or parent who is an enrolled tribal member; Alaska Natives may use Native Corporation membership.
  • To be considered for any American Indian College Fund scholarship, you must have at least a 2.0 GPA to apply.
  • Once awarded, depending on donor criteria, your scholarship may have a higher GPA to maintain eligibility.
