Brief Description:

Student Health Services seeking applications for a part-time (.475 FTE) 10-month, Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor I position. This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position, therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a Criminal History Check and be determined to be position qualified as per OSU Standard 576-055-0000 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in Youth Programs may have additional Criminal History Checks every 24 months. This position is required to work nights and weekends as needed to provide alcohol and drug prevention workshops to on and off campus requestors.

To be eligible for the job applicants must:

  • CADC level II or higher.
  • BA or BS degree (or equivalency- a minimum of an AA degree and a combination of academic courses with specialized training in Addiction Counseling Competencies commensurate with baccalaureate degree credit/hour requirements) with a minimum of 300 Alcohol and Drug Education hours.
  • Current Certification as an Alcohol Drug Counselor I from the State of Oregon at the time of hire.
  • This position requires a clear and unambiguous commitment to compliance of all National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) regulations for Division I (FBS) universities.
