Potawatomi Area Council, Boy Scouts of America is pleased to announce “Potawatomi Area Council, Robert F. Smart Scholarship”. To be considered for the program, the candidate should graduate from high school this spring or is currently in college. The Mission of the Council is to help the ever-increasing number of youth mature into adults exhibiting traits of participating citizenship, character and personal fitness founded upon the moral and ethical values expressed in the Scout Oath/Promise and Law.
The Potawatomi Area Council is headquartered in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The Potawatomi Area Council serves all of Waukesha County and portions of Dodge, Jefferson, Walworth and Washington Counties. They promote future generations of leaders to serve their communities by increasing the number of youth in Scouting.
To be eligible, the student must possess
- Applicant must be an Eagle Scout
- You will graduate from high school this spring or is currently in college
- Resides within the boundaries of the Potawatomi Area Council
- Applicant is active in his local church o Is in need of financial support for post-high school education
