Brief Description:

Utah Valley University (UVU) would like to announce “UVU Dean’s Merit scholarship”. In order to apply for the scholarship, you must have a declared major and also be currently admitted to Utah Valley University (UVU).The primary mission of the Academic Standards Office at UVU is to promote students academic success and to assist those experiencing academic difficulty.

Host Institution:

Utah Valley University, or UVU, is a publicly funded university located in Orem, Utah, the United States with a fall 2017 enrollment of approximately 37,282 students.  In 1941, the nation was slowly recovering from the Depression of the 1930s.

Eligibility:

To receive the scholarship, you must be

  • Major-specific with additional criteria determined by the department
  • GPA varies from 2.5 – 3.5 GPA
  • Utah Residency is required
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Eligible Non-Citizen
  • Students enrolled in English Language Learning (ELL), Global Aviation, or Off-Budget programs are not eligible
  • Cannot have a previous bachelor’s degree
  • Students who have received scholarships at Utah Valley University for a total of eight semesters are not eligible
